Christian (wrestler)

William Jason Jay Reso is a Canadian actor and retired professional wrestler signed to WWE under the ring name Christian, a shortened version of his original ring name Christian Cage. From 2014, WWE viewed Reso as retired the company released him from his wrestling contract in 2016, after two years of inactivity. Reso has made no announcement, but concedes that he is unlikely to wrestle again.

Reso was born on November 30, 1973 in Kitchener, Ontario, the son of an American father and a Canadian mother. He played ice hockey and was a wrestling fan as a child. Reso lived in Huntsville and East LutherGrand Valley, before moving to Orangeville here, he met Adam Copeland, who would become his best friend and tag team partner. The two attended Orangeville District Secondary School together, from which Reso graduated.
